There is a possibility that some alteration might be necessary to install this pickguard like removing the old pickguard from the guitar, including but not limited to woodwork.  If installed, without proper care, the guitar may be damaged.  I suggest that you consult with a repair shop to change the pickguard if you are not confident doing the installation yourself.   Please be careful as Dust Storm Engraving will not accept responsibility for any damage caused or issues arising from your installation of this product.
