I have tailored my original floral scrollwork to seamlessly fit this hardwood XGP HSH routed Stratocaster style guitar body. I will only laser engrave and serialize 50 of each limited-edition design.  All guitar bodies will have unique, one-off qualities.  The Dust Storm Engraving logo with serial number is hidden by the pickguard giving you a numbered work of functional art you could hang on your wall.

The engraved areas in the guitar body have been left raw unsealed wood.  I do not do any kind of sealing or clear coating afterwards to keep the contrast of the glossy finish and the matte tone of the engraving.  Use will make a cool, antiqued look.  However, if you want everything shiny, you can clear coat it yourself or have it coated by another service if you like.

Stratocaster pickguard and tremolo cover laser cut for a precise fit.  Then laser engraved and etched with our human generated design on solid color acrylic.  The laser engraved artwork has a three-dimensional depth that no printed design can match and takes on many looks when reflecting light.  The edges are router beveled, and hand sanded for a human crafted finish.  Finally, the 11 mounting holes are countersunk. My custom pickguards are the perfect upgrade, replacement, or finish for your guitar build.  Blending modern technology with hand craftsmanship, Dust Storm Engraving pickguards are sure to shine with their highly reflective surface!

These XGP bodies are lightweight (Average weight is 4 lbs.), resonant and cut to fit vintage-spec parts! XGP routs each body to exact 1963 Stratocaster body specs... using their own 1963 Strat as the template. Each body is hand-sanded, hand painted, hand polished to a perfect finish. This is a premium XGP part!

These bodies use the popular H-S-H routing, perfect for three single coils, or humbuckers at neck and bridge position. The routing is generous enough to accommodate all popular brands of pickups and full sized, USA spec electronics. The neck pocket is routed to a vintage correct 2 3/16" width, 5/8" deep and 3" long, and fits XGP necks and most real Fender Brand necks perfectly.
